Christmas is coming - its practically here!
Do you find yourself getting caught up in the planning and work that come with the holidays? With all the shopping, baking, organizing get togethers and so many other tasks on our to-do list it's hard to find a quiet minute. It's not surprising that many of us feel stressed out and overwhelmed. I've also been guilty of this at times.
But when I stop and think about what we are celebrating, I remember that God came to us as a helpless baby. He led a perfect life without sine, and then He died for us.
That, is the most precious gift ever given.
We take this special time to remember His love for us and to show others God's love. What better way to celebrate Christmas than to tell someone that God loves them? We can have an abiding joy and peace.
That is what Christmas is all about. God's perfect gift to us.

"And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord." ----------------------------------------------------------- - Luke 2:8-11
